Combining AI + RPA to manage applicant tracking and enhance the hiring experience

The Process

Customers visiting our client’s e-commerce website have many choices for products and features. It is a common phenomenon that customers drop out of ordering a product even though they intend to buy. The primary reason for this is not to have answers to specific queries related to either product features, shipping times, return policies, and others. Retailers lose out on potential sales due to not having enough information available to customers, or their inability to replicate a store shopping experience online. After an order is placed by a customer, having customer support is a critical factor in providing a great shopping experience. Although most online retailers target to push as much information to customers proactively, it often is not able to answer specific questions that customers have.

Our Solution

We built a solution using Aiwozo’s Intelligent Automation capability to automate the process, where Robotic Process Automation (RPA) was used for repetitive manual tasks, and Quale Infotech’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) model was used for unstructured data. The AI solution was built to do resume parsing of applicants; this reduced data entry requirement by about 75%, as most of the information was captured by the AI tool. The remaining 25% was data entered manually. After completion of a new applicant, Aiwozo Bots were responsible for scheduling, blocking calendars, and sending reminders for interviews. Bots also collected the feedback of interviews via email. The applicants were either moved to the next stage or rejected, depending on the feedback. Finally, selected candidates were sent offers after getting required approvals for salary.
